We were so excited to visit the kids' cousins in Salado! They had so much fun together, and they ran around like a pack of wild children...enjoying every moment, of course ;)
Bekah absolutely fawned over Evelyn. She was always asking about her and re-inserting her pacifier for her. It was so sweet! Of course, Evie is just the sweetest girl EVER! And so HAPPY!
We took all of the cousins to the circus in Austin. They seemed to have a big time!
Unfortunately, it was a bit much for the little cousins, so they headed back to Salado while the rest of us struggled to stay awake through the LATE show.
On our last day there, the little ones escaped the house and decided to take the golf cart for a joy ride. Thank goodness the keys weren't in it!!! They sure were cute co-conspirators!
We look forward to many more visits just like this!

Tidbits...
B wrote his first thank-you letter recently. It was to the football player that gave him the glove at the maroon and white game. He worked VERY hard to write it, and he attached a photo to send it to the kind player.
Meanwhile...Bekah has been into EVERYTHING! We can't let her out of sight! This time she got into the bathroom soap. I caught her rubbing it all over her hands and face...
Of course, it was not tear-proof, so she burned the ever-livin' out of her eyes. But I had to let her learn her way...
Then they got sick. It ended up being a virus, but we had to miss our Dallas trip :( They enjoyed the popsicles and television...
Bekah did her own hair in this picture. A few weeks ago we put her in a big girl bed. She enjoys it, but she has recently learn the art of escaping. Last week was a week of LONG nights...
So I made them clean my house...

Chuck-E-Cheese
Party time! B was invited to a birthday party for his former classmate, Emma. We headed over to help her celebrate...and came away with his sore throat virus. Nevertheless, both kids loved it.

Soccer Time!
B had his first game recently, and it was TOO CUTE! The field is so little! The kids are so little!
First, we set up for the big event...
This first play was a bit of a dog pile. The kids will toughen up soon...hopefully...
Notice Ryan on the sidelines. He is the assistant coach. So fun!
B scored THREE goals!!!
It sure was fun! And hot...super hot...

Little Gymnast
This is Bekah's scene...
She is singing the "Bye-Bye" song at gymnastics...
She gets her stamps...
Then gets MORE from the other coach.
She is their favorite student. For real.

More Doggie House Construction Pics
While at the time of this writing the doggie house is still incomplete, here are some more pics of the process. Notice B's lumberjack shirt...
Nothing like a four-year-old with spray paint, right?

Would you like to see the kids swim? Here ya go! The first two are Bekah swimming the width of the pool, and the third is B jumping off the board and swimming the length of the pool. They did GREAT this summer!

Time Travel...Back to Lego Zone!
Well, somehow we dropped the ball and didn't quite post about the Lego Zone coming to Houston. Of course, we HAD to go...and buy Lego sets from the gift shop upon departure...
I was encouraging the kids to feel it so they would understand that the entire display was a building of Legos...
B enjoyed the station where he built a Lego vehicle...
B built another structure at another station and contributed it to a HUGE display...
Who doesn't play soccer at Lego events?
She won't miss a thing...
This was a huge pile of bricks set up as a play area. B was so over it by then and refused to participate...
We had a nice time, but it definitely wasn't our favorite activity we've ever done.
