I came in armed with a list of about twelve questions. This dream of a pediatrician, whom I love and adore, answered most of them before I even had a chance to ask. Of course the extremely overbearing questions such as, "Who manufactures the DTaP vaccine that your practice uses" was not anticipated and had to be researched. But research she did. And she didn't even act hateful for the question!
Rebekah is so different from Benjamin that I felt a bit like a first time mom with all of my concerns, but this was definitely the woman to ask. I was especially pleased when Dr. W said, "I'll tell you what the AAP guidelines are, but I'll also tell you when I disagree and why." I love a thinking doctor. The conclusion of this appointment is that Miss R is growing and developing perfectly.
BUT, I did get in trouble for one issue...
Laying her on her stomach to sleep. I know better, but she just doesn't sleep well this way...
In other news, when I went to pick up B from preschool he was too engaged and didn't want to leave. I have to say that this is a good sign. As you can see below, he had scored a tray full of wooden vehicle beads and was working on lining them up and stringing them...we'll call it focused.
