My folks went up to Lago Vista for a couple of days this weekend so it was just Jennifer, the kids and me home.
Jennifer and Bekah both took a big nap yesterday so Benjamin and I enjoyed a little guy time. We read this giant numbers book for about an hour and then we made lunch together.
After that we went outside so Benjamin could play on his scooter.
For being on a cul-de-sac this has to be the busiest street in the city. In the hour and fifteen minutes we were outside we had to pull over to the curb 9 times to allow cars to pass. Benjamin was excited that a police man came down the street and returned B's wave.
After about 45 minutes on the scooter we switched over to his peddle driven tractor. And about 30 minutes into that I was wiped out. I told him I had a suprise for him and we loaded up in the classy mini-van and headed out.
It was Benjamin's first snow-cone. He got red (watermelon) and I got blue (bubblegum) - but he "really, really, really, REALLY liked both flavors".
We, of course, had a tongue color contest at the end. I won't show you mine because it's not nearly as cute as his.
It was a good day.
