Happy 2013!

We are creeping in before a few other pending posts to with you and yours a VERY happy 2013! We stayed home last night and ate a special dinner, had a pear tasting, made cookies, wore hats, blew noise makers, popped poppers, and even had a parachute drop.  It was a family event that I hope to expand upon in years to come.

 Of course, it landed right next to the dog...who, strangely, didn't seem to notice.  (We will no longer be using her as a "guard" dog, it seems.)

 Although this deserves a post of its own, it was a celebratory moment on a celebratory occasion, so we shall include it now...

BEKAH'S "WEIRD WALK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 

 In special, unpredictable moments, when she is feeling quite silly, Bekah resorts to her "weird walk."  We all stop what we are doing to watch in amusement.  It is mighty fine entertainment, and it is all too fleeting...
