Fall Fell Upon Us

So, one fall, Saturday afternoon we were sitting around "enjoying" some football when the Bek decided to scare us all to death with a high fever. Several hours later, after a visit to the Urgent Care and a directive to proceed to the emergency room, Bekah sat up, smiling, after her "heart art" (EKG,) and requested some Lupe Tortilla. No fever. No sickness. That was an interesting $3500 adventure!

Luckily, we were able to proceed with pride for our other, easy-going child for a special display of his work completed in the GT pull-out group:

And, we spent most Friday nights enjoying the cool breeze of the Point Venture Golf Course...

Until the birthday festivities commenced...

We must have been good because we earned ourselves an incredible eight-year-old!

But we sure enjoyed those fall breezes on the upstairs balcony...

So we amped up our Hill Country investment by heading out to Enchanted Rock for a camping trip...

But when we got there, we realized we had reserved a back-country site, so we turned around and headed for pie...

and Ryan consoled our Happy Camper Boy with a boy's night in the tent...in the backyard...

And we revived the family photo...on the morning after Ryan returned from the Cubs World Series game at Wrigley...blue was our only option!

Even Veddie got in on some fun!

It was a great fall, all in all!
