Bris

Sorry it's been so long....I'm sure some of you are chomping at the bit. I have a closing tomorrow on the most expensive house I've ever built so I've been completely bogged down at work and I haven't been able to get Jennifer to sit down and learn how to use this thing yet.

Anyways, today was Benjamin's 8th day of life which means it was time for his Bris. That's Jewish for "Time to get circumcised". We had it done at our house by an orthodox Doctor and I got to come home from work for an hour or so. Because it is customary to have it during the day, there were only a few family members who were able to make it, but those of you who sent your regards we appreciate that.

It went much quicker than I thought it would but sheesh it crushed me to hear him screaming like he did. Not that I can blame him. He is doing OK right now. I use the term "OK" lightly because I can't imagine a guy getting snipped like that and being cool about it.

I'll try to get some pictures up before the weekend (not of the actual procedure but of the surrounding stuff) as well as some other random pictures we've taken since the last photo update.

BK is currently running on a 2-1/2 hour cycle of eating and sleeping which is better than the 2-hour cycle he was on a few days ago. He's been a pretty good baby thus far so we can't complain.
