Well, today we spent 4 hours, yes FOUR, at Kwik Kar. We did take a stroll down a block or two to meet Ryan for lunch, and we found me an optometrist. Other than that slight deviation, we spent the day in a very crowded waiting room. Thanks to Benjamin's flirting, we were able to meet and converse with EVERYONE that walked into the place. I was (surprise) really anxious that B wouldn't have the patience for the wait time. Of course, he was fine. What a relief! We walked out of there repaired, happy, and slightly stunned by the exorbitant price tag. Well, it's better than a car payment. The guy also assured me that my car would last ANOTHER 150 thousand miles. Ummm, I'm going to be patient for about another two years, but I have a feeling that I'll be jonesing for a new ride around then.
