It's been a wonderful first year, and we look forward to all of the many more to come. You've been the perfect infant, and every curiosity continues to thrill us. We hope your second year will be filled with friends, family, museums, zoos, shows, classes, and certainly love. You've given us purpose and joy that we didn't know existed. We used to listen to Granger Smith or Britney Spears, but now we listen to lullabies. We used to spend our weekends dining out and seeking entertainment, but now we find ourselves reading board books and enjoying toddler time. Our extra monies used to go towards luxuries, but now they find their way into your 529 plan.
Your birth was our miracle. Your personality was our gift. To you we intend to reciprocate by teaching you to choose confidence and happiness as your character definition. With you we intend to create an honorable and charitable young man. The rest is yours to choose...no matter how much we joke about college and careers. We look forward to meeting the boy you are growing into and the man you will inevitably become. Thank you for your invaluable part in our lives. We love you.
