There are two notable new behaviors: tongue play and reaching out. Baby B has found his tongue. In fact, he has really enjoyed his mouth this month. If you remember, he discovered the fine art of spitting a few weeks ago. Now, he is sticking out his tongue and smacking it around. Frankly, it is VERY cute. I have a picture or two, so I'll try to get Ryan to post it later.
B's other new "trick" is reaching for me. He is not totally consistent about this, but I always wondered when this behavior would begin. Well, folks, we have the beginning. Most frequently, he reaches for me when I'm taking him out of his carseat. There are other occasions as well, but this one is the most pronounced.
On another note, he participated in "Art" again today at Mother's Day Out. He also participated in "Sign Language" for the first time. I'm not sure how much he actually retained, but I am sure that he's one of the Sign Language teacher's biggest fans...so I'm sure he paid special attention to the lesson.
On the health front, we all seem to be improving around here. Of course this morning's news said something along the lines of, "If you have any allergies whatsoever, walking out your front door today is akin to punching yourself in the nose." Yep, I'm not even kidding about this. Don't worry; we'll be indoors.
