I've spent most of today making batches of baby foods, so I'm feeling adventurous. That never ends well. First of all, I got carried away wanting Baby B to sample several new-to-him foods. You're only supposed to introduce one food at a time, so I'm in the proverbial red already. For the record, he likes cantaloup... a lot. He hates green beans. I forced them down him by alternating between the beans and sweet potatoes.
Here's the big story: I fed him yogurt. Yes, the good quality Greek stuff. I don't eat yogurt. It smells like mouth rot if you ask me. Having said that, I wish I could stomach it. It's such a great source of calcium and protein. Anyhow, I mixed it with fruit, and B loved it. I was so excited! But then, an hour or two later, he spit up on me. Yes, this is normal, but the odor was TREMENDOUS! Oh my goodness! I have NEVER smelled anything worse than regurgitated fermented food. I've dealt with many baby smells so far, and I can handle them all...until this. So, consider this a warning.
