On Saturday evening, Benjamin decided that he would start waving. In fact, he was so excited about this new trick that he sometimes waves both hands at the same time! Unfortunately, he seems a bit too shy to wave to strangers, you know, the people who have occasion to wave at him most often. Baby steps.
One of Baby B's not so fun behaviors is his new obsession with screaming every time I'm on the phone. He doesn't cry; he just cruises up to me and starts screaming. When I put the phone up to his ear he seems to enjoy the conversation, but when he's not involved he definitely makes his presence (and his disapproval) known...to everyone. For what it's worth, this child is NOT starved for attention. It's a predicament.
Overall, we've been having lots of fun these days. B is so curious and enthusiastic. He loves to be out and about, and he's enjoying new foods. We're working on identifying colors, animals, and a handful of other basics. I'm sure it will take a while to click, but B patronizes me with a dedicated attention every time I try to teach him.
