The Key to Happiness

Since late afternoons are "grumpster" time, I have been searching for a way to passify the culprit. Much to my surprise, yesterday we stumbled upon a solution. In the process, the dogs earned their keep.

1. Place Grumpster in his baby walker. (He immediately begins to scream due to a recent refusal to be contained in any capacity.)
2. Pour Cheerios on the walker's tray. (Screaming ceases.)
3. Catch up on a magazine, book, or housework. (That last one is a joke.)
4. Look up occasionally to find Benjamin cruising through the house eating, the dogs chasing/dodging him in hopes of eating, and Benjamin enjoying the only time the dogs show any interest in him.
5. Bonus: The dogs don't even try to bite B when he grabs at them! Thanks be to food!

Fun times.

Food Update
Blueberries are now the "it" food in this house. Just to add to the unceasing excitement, Benjamin now refuses (read: spits in my direction) any mushy food I try to feed him. He has decided that he will feed himself, and I am hindering his development. All I can say is that this better be preparation for his Child Development classes in medical school.
