Tonight we took our family drive out to the job site to check on the...sticks and nails that may someday be our house. Due to the massive amount of construction city wide it is taking longer than we anticipated. Although it was super cool to stand in the center of the frame last weekend, I did not notice much of a difference between Sunday and today, Friday. Of course work had been done, but I have decided that it will probably look about the same to me until it is through sheetrock...probably three weeks from now. Although I will be impatiently waiting until then, I was quite pleased with the structural modifications we made to the plans. Sadly for Ryan, however, the slow process means many more selection modifications. He's been a trooper and let me do (almost) everything I want. Hmmm...someone remind me to wrestle my way into a planning desk... ;)
