Construction Update: August 20th

The house shingled last Wednesday and the HVAC started to go in on Thursday.  At this point, we really won't see any changes to the exterior of the house now until the brickers start.

The electrician wanted to meet with me out there on Friday so I took a long lunch (and worked late) to accommodate him and go over everything.
The construction door and the french doors off the family room went in sometime before I got there on Friday, which was a nice surprise.
Jennifer and the kids accompanied me on Saturday and the stair safety rail was in (you can see it along the stairs behind the f/p box) and the exterior siding had been painted (and the electricians were finishing up).

Today the low voltage went in so it should go through inspections over the next few days and insulate before they start hanging sheetrock.  I'm going to try and get out there tomorrow and take pictures of everything in much more detail before the insulation goes in just so we have them for our records in case we need them in the future.

Also, the trash guy quit last Monday so that is a huge pain for the guys.  They're hard to come by.
